LoanApproval101 is a home loan education project. Our goal is simple: help future homebuyers understand the mortgage process before they apply, in plain English, without the pressure of a sales pitch.
Buying a home is one of the largest financial decisions most people make, yet the loan process is full of jargon, moving parts, and information that's hard to find in one place. We gather that information — how loans work, what lenders review, how to compare offers, and the mistakes that commonly cause problems — and explain it clearly. Much of our content is free. A one-time membership unlocks our deeper guides and curated resource libraries.
In short: we are an independent education resource. We don't take loan applications, we don't get paid by lenders to send you their way, and we can't approve or deny anyone for a mortgage. Any decision about your loan is made by a licensed lender based on their own criteria.
Our guidance draws on public, authoritative sources — including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, the VA, and the USDA — as well as widely used industry practices. Guidelines change, so we review our content periodically and always encourage you to confirm specifics with a licensed mortgage professional.
LoanApproval101 is operated by Dax Education LLC, based in St. Johns, Florida. Questions, corrections, and feedback are genuinely welcome — reach us any time at [email protected].
